Construction Assignments continue to enjoy a strong relationship with the co-living boarding house operator, UKO. Having been appointed by a private investor, for the latest property in Marrickville, we will provide client-side project management services for this Design and Construct project delivery model.
The purpose-built, new generation, boarding house is set to offer 22 rooms, including a self-contained manager’s unit, communal kitchen, and living area with outdoor space. Located at 35-37 Warren Road, the property is within walking distance of Marrickville train station, bus routes to Sydney city centre, and the suburb’s vibrant restaurant, and microbrewery, scene.
UKO will be operating the property, their fifth under a successful co-living model. The brand aspires to make inner city living possible, inspiring a way to live well both privately, and as part of a vibrant community. The inclusion of shared living spaces, and a knowledgeable local host, also contribute to the sociable lifestyle on offer.
Construction Assignments is administering, on behalf of the client, a single head contract, as well as performing the role of Superintendent under the contract. The existing structure will undergo demolition, and a purpose-built boarding house, with increased capacity and improved indoor and outdoor amenity and facilities, will be constructed.
