New Waterfront Hotel, Devonport, Tasmania as part of “Living City”.
Living City is a transformative urban renewal project in Devonport, Tasmania, an initiative of the Devonport City Council. The renewal project is being delivered in stages.
Stage One, that is now complete, includes the following new facilities: Iconic multipurpose building with 800 seat conference venue, food pavilion and a 530 space multi-deck car park. The next stage of the broader Living City masterplan is the development of the Waterfront Precinct, that proposes a new 150 to 200 room hotel along with a $15M parkland development.
Construction Assignments’ involvement on this exciting new waterfront precinct is in partnership with Fairbrother Pty Ltd, the successful proponent for the development of the hotel.
Construction Assignments will work with Fairbrother, Lyons Architects and engineering disciplines to guide their respective project contributions and responsibilities through to realized hotel feasibility investment criteria.
Construction Assignments is providing design briefing on hotel front and back of house elements and specific requirements to maximise operational, serviceability and buildability aspects. F&B design perimeters have also formed part of Construction Assignment’s hotel design consultancy.
