Atura, Adelaide

Event Hospitality & Entertainment appointed Construction Assignments as Client-side Project Manager for their seven-storey, 165-room hotel construction in Adelaide Airport’s terminal. Operated by Atura Hotel, the property is complete with bar, restaurant and a comprehensive business centre.

The design-led hotel, with its urban, industrial feel, is accessible to all travellers – not just hotel guests – via a walkway connecting the terminal and retail plaza. The development forms part of Adelaide Airport Precinct’s larger $2 billion expansion works.

Construction Assignments’ role included contract administration, design co-ordination, stakeholder relationship management and authority approvals and co-ordination. We managed time, cost and quality for the project and coordinated procurement and placement of furniture, fittings and equipment. We also coordinated pre-opening responsibilities with the developer, the operator and the contractor.
